By now, just about everybody knows that Bruce Pearl is no longer men's basketball coach at Tennessee. The whirlwind of bad press that the coach (along with others in the athletic department) has brought to UT is unforgivable and ended with Pearl being fired by athletic director Mike Hamilton (who may also be headed to the gallows). The new coach, Cuonzo Martin, a head coach at Missouri St. and assistant at Purdue, may likely inherit a slew of NCAA sanctions against the program. So here's to you Bruce- the man who single handidly ressurrected and killed Tennessee basketball.
