What makes Marc Broussard unique? Many would argue that its his undeniable tendency to stick to the basics and keep it simple. Born and raised in the south, Louisiana specifically, Marc's sound has hints of country, gospel, and soul mixed with good, old-fashioned rock n' roll. The son of swamp-pop guitarist Ted Broussard, of The Boogie Kings, Broussard has been around music his whole life. His solo career began after he split ways with the Louisiana christian band, Y. Releasing his first EP, Momentary Setback, in 2002, Broussard has released three full-length albums since and toured constantly supporting acts such as O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band, and Willie Nelson.
